More than 50 orphans between the ages of 3-16 are living in Camp David in Carrefour, located just South of Port-au-Prince, ground zero of the January earthquake. Touch Heaven Ministries visited the camp, presided over by Bishop Jean Ernest Chervil, during a 3-day pastors conference from May17-20 that turned out more than 400 pastors from throughout the country. 

The orphans had been sleeping on the rocky bare ground, completely exposed to the rain and the dirt.  It is now the rainy season and the children are finding it more and more difficult to attain food and supplies.  I am very happy to write you this letter to give you the news of what had happened after you left, is that the clinic of Touch Heaven Ministries, is so overloaded with a lot of sick of all sorts of places around the last three days, a medical team has seen and treated more than 850 disease until at 2h-30 PM our stock of medicine  run out completely and we were forced to close the door of our clinic and tomorrow Thursday, February 24, 2010 the door will not be opened until we have received some more cases of medicine, our medical team, doctors and nurses are feeling  very encouraged, to work in the field to help to alleviate the suffering of our people victims of the earthquake of January 12, 2010 and account less patient with chronic disease of all kind and if you did not come to Haiti last week we wouldn’t have connection where to fund food and medicine for our needy people. So thank you for coming on the right time to our rescue.
    
During these three days of clinical need was so urgent, the number of our medical corps will get up on top of 14 members, 5 doctors and 9 nurses who voluntarily work from 8am till 4PM and we have not yet the financial means to symbolically reward them, it is still our hope that when a financial door be opened specifically to this purpose.
    
Dear Pastor and friend your presence in Haiti in this tragic moment has greatly encouraged the people in my department and me to climb these pick mountains before us all the way to the top of the evangelical work on the soil of our country to proclaim the last trumpet in the coming time of the Lord Jesus to steal away his flock, the church who have acquired by his on blood for the glory of the kingdom of his father, we nurture hope that you and your ministries will not to forget us in this great spiritual battle,  namely destroyed the strength of the evil in this country and build the kingdom of God by winning lost souls to be saved by the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, in this circumstance we need your full cooperation for the edification of our country body, spirit  and soul …
Salvation for the soul, the Holy Spirit for the mind the healing and natural food for the body, and the total man shall be saved.
