Fed Ex and TouchHaitiNow (THN) , a mission of Touch Heaven Ministries, are working together to collect, package, and transport approximately 200,000 pounds of food, water, basic needs and medical supplies.  Fed Ex employees and management collected the supplies and partnered with Touch Heaven to coordinate the packaging and distribution into Haiti for urgent response and care to the most needy.  Frank Amedia, Director of THN, says that these supplies are designated for delivery to the devastated area of Carrefour, a metropolitan are of Port-au Prince which is at ground zero.

In response to this first stage of disaster relief to this earthquake riddled region, many hindrances to the delivery of supplies must be overcome.
